Computers are remarkably dumb’ said Google’s head of Artificial Intelligence

Google’s head of machine learning doesn’t look too anxious about computers becoming smarter than humans.

John Giannandrea, who runs the company’s machine learning efforts, says that he is not overwhelmed with the present intelligence of system, according to a report by Fortune.
“I think computers are extraordinarily dumb a computer is like a 4-year-old child.”

While AI is much vast than machine learning, machine learning plays a serious role in most AI systems these days. Machine learning is essentially the AI algorithm that learns from data and is able of improving over time.

For instance, Google and Apple use machine learning in their elegant assistants. The practical assistants learn your performance to offer better results when you ask a question or make an appeal.

AI and machine learning always played a main role in Google’s services, but the company is looking to rise up its use of skills even more.

The company has begun to bend more on AI to help improving its search results. On Monday, Google exposed that it formed an AI system called Rank Brain that is used when anyone searches for something that its search system has never seen earlier.
